Refund policy

The Samella Lewis Estate store is operated by Unity Lewis Arts & Entertainment Inc. on behalf of the Samella Lewis Estate.

Final-sale artwork

Because artworks and limited-edition prints are scarce, condition-sensitive objects, all artwork sales are final except when an item arrives damaged, is incorrect, is materially different from its listing, or another remedy is required by applicable law. We do not accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind, perceived differences in scale or color caused by screens or photography, framing preferences, or condition characteristics disclosed before purchase.

Damage, loss, incorrect items, or material misdescription

Contact info@samellalewis.com within seven calendar days after delivery. Include the order number and clear photographs of the artwork, exterior and interior packaging, shipping label, and the issue. Keep all original packaging while the claim is reviewed. For a shipment that appears lost, contact us promptly so we can begin a carrier and insurance claim.

If a qualifying issue is verified, we will provide the remedy appropriate to the circumstances and applicable law, which may include return authorization, repair, replacement when an equivalent impression is available, or a refund. Do not return an artwork without written authorization and shipping instructions.

Cancellations

A cancellation may be requested before fulfillment, but it is not guaranteed. Once an artwork has been released for packing or shipment, the sale is final except as stated above.

Condition and age

Each work is sold in the condition shown and described on its product page. Works on paper can display age-appropriate characteristics, minor handling evidence, deckled edges, registration variation, or other features inherent to the work, paper, or printmaking process. Disclosed or clearly photographed characteristics are not defects. Additional photographs or a condition report may be requested before purchase.

Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
